Hey there! My name is Kath and I'm the person running this whole thing. I've been playing Star Stable for years and the club community has always been one of my favourite parts of the game. I started Jorvik Spotlight because I wanted to make it easier for players to find a club that actually fits them and to give clubs the recognition they deserve.
What this is

Jorvik Spotlight is a curated directory of Star Stable clubs, paired with a personal magazine about the clubs I explore. Before any club gets listed, I take a proper look at how they present themselves, their Instagram, their homepage and everything they put out there. The clubs I visit personally get a little extra: a "Visited" badge and a report written from firsthand experience.

This isn't an automated list. It's something I genuinely care about and put time into. If a club is listed here, it's because I believe it's worth your time.

FAQ
How do I get my club listed?
Fill out the application form and I'll take a careful look at everything. This usually doesn't take longer than a few days. If everything checks out, your club gets added to the directory.
Is it free to be listed?
Yes, completely free. This is a community project, not a business.
How do I get the Visited badge?
When filling out the application form, you can let us know whether you'd like your club to be personally visited and verified. If you've already applied without requesting a visit and changed your mind later, just reach out to me via Instagram and let me know.

During the visit, I'll mostly observe from the background: watching how your meetings are structured, how the club flows, how everyone gets along. And if the opportunity arises, I'd love to have a casual chat with the club leader. Nothing formal, just a relaxed conversation about how the club came to be, what you're working towards, that kind of thing.

After the visit, your club will receive its badge and a personal experience report within 1–2 weeks.

How do I get a spotlight article?
I choose clubs for spotlights myself based on what I find interesting or special. You can't apply for a spotlight directly — but being in the directory is the first step.
Can I update my club's information?
Yes! Just reach out to me via Instagram and I'll get it updated for you.
Do I have to be in the directory to get a spotlight?
Not necessarily — I can also reach out to clubs directly if I'd like to feature them. But being in the directory definitely helps!
